Mayuko joined CTLT as a coordinator in Fall 2006. She enjoys the opportunity to collaborate with the faculty and staff and share her knowledge of instructional practices and technologies. She earned her M.A. from Teachers College, Columbia University in 1997 and has been working in higher education for the past 12 years. Outside of work, she can be found at the Children’s Discovery Museum, parks, or pools, playing with her kids.

Functions at CTLT

Mayuko’s primary responsibilities include assisting faculty with Blackboard, offering consultation on online/blended course design and instruction, teaching workshops, coordinating CTLT website, Spring & Summer Institute, and Faculty Prep Week. She is also an instructional technology specialist at CTLT and encourages faculty to use a variety of web 2.0 tools in classroom.
